Main Goal

The Strategic Business Analysts assists in supporting the development and implementation of solutions to business needs through information gathering, synthesis, review, testing and business analysis.

Job description

The Strategic Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of the regional company strategy which includes market and competitive research, qualitative and quantitative analysis of business and market related information as well as aspects related to the strategic planning process and its implementation . This role will actively participate in all aspects of the strategic process including supporting business units in the development of the strategic roadmaps and priorities, helping manage the strategic planning processes, developing documentation to support these initiatives, and understanding of business processes, enabling tools, technologies, and capabilities.

•Gather and analyze internal/external qualitative and quantitative data to support the business and/or the development of the future Strategic Roadmap.
•Organize and prepare strategic reviews and project dashboards for AMPA Strategic Team Members. Provide status tracking and updates on key areas of the business.
•Analyze relevance and impact of key market trends on the industry and HMC, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, Analyze business fundamentals, business performance and relative competitive positions.
•Evaluate and interpret market reports, technology assessments and recommendations to draw conclusions on viability and impact.
•Strategic projects — support maintenance and development of key relationships and collaboration with universities and other external key collaborator partnerships.
•Support strategic and key regional business improvement projects and initiatives
•Support preparation of materials for regional management (ExeCom) meetings, Global Strategic Team (GST)
•Support GST members in the AMPA Region related to business improvement: Tools, templates and improvement of business processes.
Support operations management in elaborating budgets and forecasting process.
•Build a broad network of internal cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to leverage organizational knowledge, resources and expertise.
•Take an active role in supporting the development of internal and external presentations, meetings and discussions.
•Develop communication tools that summarize/synthesize data and conclusions facilitating the decision process of the members of the Global Strategic Team in the AMPA region Conduct interviews, lead brainstorming sessions, find critical business information, and help business to improve diverse business processes within the region.
•Actively participate and contribute to the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives.
•Analyze general specification, document requirements and translate into system requirement specification.


Education & work experience required:
•MBA (students in the last year of their MBA program encouraged to apply)
•1 to 3 years of experience in strategic planning process and analysis
•Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
•Strong analytical business skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Technically Literate and Adept
•Bilingual in English and Spanish language preferred
