Finalité du poste
Within HM.Clause Business Unit, you report to the Global Genotyping Platform Manager and manage transversal activities in support to genotyping data production.
You guaranty an industrial production environment using high throughput and innovative technologies, contributing to the development of innovative new varieties.
Vos Missions
- Lead a pluri-disciplinary team of research associates, technicians, and employees.
- Manage planning and coordinate production activity in close collaboration with the Genotyping Production manager.
- In collaboration with Trait & Technologies teams, implement new technologies and establish new production process compliant with cost and turnaround time specifications.
- Define needs and prioritize between implementation and technical problem solving.
- Contribute to the definition and implement the Quality Assurance policy on the Platform (process description; KPI monitoring, non-conformities management, people training, internal audits)
- Define key indicators for activity and performance in collaboration with the Genotyping Production Manager
- Negotiate standard consumables with providers for the platform and define the supply management strategy.
- Represent the Genotyping Platform in technical committees at LVS level, or within LVS/LFS meetings.
- Work closely with the Global Planning and Logistics Manager for the development and deployment of IT tools relating to planning, traceability, and reporting.
- Act as deputy manager in the absence of the Global Genotyping Platform manager
- Follow technological innovations
Compétences : ce que nous attendons de vous
PhD or Master degree in molecular biology, biotechnologies, with experience in the agri-business sector
Expertise in high throughput genotyping technologies
Proven experience in multi-disciplinary team management
Knowledge in Quality Assurance
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, with matrix organization.
Result Oriented
Team player and collaborative spirit
Ability to make proposals and to influence.
Fluent english mandatory for the position
