Main Goal

Lead the team of Sales Representatives from each specific region, with the objective of developing sales, increasing market share and expanding the customer base of the HM.Clause business unit within the scope of the defined commercial strategy

Job description

• Defines and supervises actions, goals and achievements of the team.
• Proposes and implements a sales strategy, and in certain cases a product development strategy to gain market share and increase the probability of generating business for the BU within the region.
• Directs interface with clients.
• Coordinates key accounts.
• Monitors the sales of each region.
• Proposes and controls budgets of the territory and the team.
• Coordinates the department's pricing and strategy policy.
• Defines product release for the region.
• Coordinates several events within the department: Sales meetings, Sales training and PD, industry conventions, open field days.
• Requires daily commuting to visit clients in industrial functions and field tests, in the vehicle provided by the company.
• May require 3 to 4 trips per year outside of the region to attend company / industry related meetings. Multiple night stays in the region throughout the year. Eventually an international trip per year will be required.


• Strategic Planning and Analysis - Ability to initiate and direct the planning and analysis of market information, through constant communication and coordination with the research, development, and product management teams, to evaluate main objectives. Ability to plan actions and analyze results.
• Technical Skills - Knowledge of vegetable production, sales skills and customer management. Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Oral and written communications abilities. Ability to make accurate monthly reports and reports of specific expenses. Ability to work with people of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
• Interpersonal skills - Possess leadership and communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with different positions within the organization, with associates, distributors, farmers, clients, and personnel related to the industry.
• Teamwork - Team member with a positive attitude and with the ability to facilitate teamwork among the staff.
• Judgement – Exhibits a good and accurate judgment. Accepts personal responsibility for the fulfillment of tasks and work performance.
• Professionalism - Highly motivated, with a high level of managerial and organizational skills. Well organized, committed, precise and precise.
• Adaptability - Ability to cope with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. It can handle several projects simultaneously.
