Limagrain Zaad South African, an affiliate of the Limagrain Group, would like to advertise a vacancy for an IT consultant.
Main Responsibilities:
· Master data management within our main ERP / Financial systems
· ERP / Financial application user support
· Design and implement data warehouse (Via excel or SQL)
· Design and implement BI reporting tools (PowerBI)
· Maintain BI Reports (Sales & Management reports)
· Manage national IT projects
· Setup and maintain yearly IT annual plan & budget by defining priorities, resources and schedules in accordance with the global budget set for the Business Unit and respecting the global Limagrain IT guidelines
· Delegate Cybersecurity Officer
· Systems integration and support - Maintain and manage all IT systems within the Business Unit
· Relationship management (LGZSA IT Suppliers, Limagrain IT, Users)
Technical skills, qualifications, and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science / Business systems
• Certified in Cisco or Meraki preferred
• Microsoft MSCE or Azure AD
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in the business and application domain
• Strong understanding of business, agronomy, industrial processes, key performance indicators and performance trends
• Understanding the full supply chain and how this is dealt with in an ERP system is advantageous
• Good understanding of current and planned architectures, platforms and technical solutions that support Business and broad knowledge of technology environments.
• Basic IT culture (Information Technology: databases, development frameworks, systems, Business Intelligence, etc.)
• Basic OT culture (Operational Technology: industrial systems, physical access control, IoT, etc.)
Good knowledge of:
• SQL Server & SSRS
• Business Intelligence reporting, preferable PowerBI or MicroStrategy
• Cisco Meraki networking equipment
• Office 365 product suite
• VeloCloud SDWAN technology
• Application support
• Basic Cybersecurity principles
• Project management
• IT budgeting
• ITIL v4 experience will be advantageous
• Microsoft Active Directory
• ERP deployment, setup and integration experience will be advantageous
The position will report to the Supply Chain Optimisation Planner & Systems Engineer
