PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To assist the Quality Control team in managing the Field QC tests and results.

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Responsible for Genetic Control testing in Home Farm. Supervision of Grow out testing (GOT) Team in Ranebennur- Home farm.

• Management of grow out test Activities in Home farm (SS & F1)
• GOT Results analysis & ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results to stakeholders
• Responsible for people and resource management within home farm team
• Manage purchases of home farm and Network locations in Ranebennur
• Responsible and co-ordinate for Sample dispatch to respective test locations. Co-ordinate with IEF lab for Sample shipment and testing for on time results
• Co-ordination with IEF lab for SS Sample shipment for Marker validation.
• Provide technical expertise in vegetable grow out test
• Coordinate with LD officer, Breeder for Line descriptors for GOT evaluation
• Monthly reporting of HF activities to QC Manager India
  Bring Resource efficiency in home farm and use appropriate tools for it.

• Master's degree in Seed Science and Technology or Agronomy.
• 3 to 4 years' experience in filed quality activities in seed industry.
