Main Goal

As part of Vilmorin's commercial policy defined by the Sales Department and in line with the Company's overall strategy, we are recruiting a subsidiary manager for our Turkish subsidiary. With his/her team, he/she will monitor all commercial, development, financial and administrative activities of the subsidiary in Turkey. This Subsidiary will have to be managed as a profit center where the Subsidiary Manager is accountable of the global P&L and business development and of which he will assume the Legal responsibility.

Reporting Line:

As the Turkish Subsidiary Manager you will report to the MERCAT Unit Director, based in France.

Job description

In order to achieve Subsidiary's performance objectives, you will lead and coordinate the collaboration of Sales, Finance, Supply, Credit Management, Research, Human Resources and Development departments.
You will be responsible to define the objectives and follow the performance of Sales, Finance, Supply, Credit Management, and Development departments.
You will recommend and monitor the Subsidiary strategy and MTP, in line with MERCAT strategy, to continue the growth, business development and dynamic new products launching plans
You monitor and secure the commercial strategy with your Sales team, develop revenues and market shares for all crops, propose accurate forecasts, monitor the local Receivables and Inventories to reach the annual targets, while ensuring maximum margin and optimum customer service and customer relationships.
You will be accountable of the Subsidiary Financial performance and the P&L, managing Expenses and recommending accurate and relevant actions
You will be accountable of all reports to the Unit Director and the company (commercial, Finance, Accounting…)
You will be the contact point with Head Quarters teams for operational topics


You are graduated from a higher education in Agriculture / Agronomy, with solid technical skills in the field of seeds, ideally complemented by a specialization in Finance and Sales or a previous experience in managing a profit center.
You have a solid ability to quickly integrate the fluctuations of the Turkish Market knowledge, with a strong solution-oriented mindset. You must have strong interpersonal and managerial skills; show a strategic vision with a successful change management experience; a great autonomy and be a great source of proposal. You should know how to manage, convince, and be a strong exemplary leader.
Fluent English is a must for this position. And if you also know Tukish it will be a strong plus.
