Main Goal

Position Description: Finance & Administrative Coordinator

Basic Function:

The Finance & Administrative Manager is a polyvalent person, who is mainly responsible for the business administrative part of the subsidiary. The ideal candidate will be responsible to follow the proper application of Vilmorin-Mikado policies and ensure compliance and consistency of accounting policies and practices with all local requirements
This position will be the local support for the Finance, Accounting and Human Resources.
This job will require to be in close contact with the America Unit Committee, which is composed of: Unit Director, HR Unit Director and the Unit Research Operations Director.

Affiliation: This position reports to the General Manager of the Subsidiary. There will also be a direct link with the Unit Management for Finance & Accounting and Human Resources.

Job description

Main functions
a. Financial
1. Implement financial and accounting systems (JDE)
2. Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
3. Deliver timely and accurate internal and group financial reporting
4. Manage the local tax issues
5. Manage treasury and Cash Management
6. Prepare forecast and annual budget (P&L, balance sheet…) in coordination with the AMU Finance Director and the General Manager,
7. Manage banking relationship
8. Implement operational best practices
9. Implementation and follow the proper application of all Vilmorin-Mikado policies/procedures
10. Record keeping: organize and maintain paper & electronic files
b. Management
1. Manage the administrative & financial team
2. Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced as Tax, Payroll and Legal
c. HR
1. Support the Unit HR Director in all HR issues
2. Manage all HR reporting at subs level
d. Others
1. Prepare and check all the legal documents in link with the external legal third part,
2. Manage local insurance policies and enforcement of group policies in link with the BU Legal Department,
3. Organize the “office” and its daily administration


Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.

Competences & Skills:
 Experience of 3 years' minimum in a similar position (accounting & business administration)
 Speak Spanish & English fluently, (French a plus).
 Some knowledge in Accounting, and Labor law in Mexico.
 Have good communication & organization skills.
 Be autonomous, determined, reliable, and efficient.
 Be client and business oriented.
