SALES & MARKETING - SALES

Main Goal

In line with the long-term strategy established by the company and in fruitful collaboration with the Marketing Manager, to develop and implement commercial strategy and lead the sales team to deliver the business and financial objectives for Turkey and contribute to the achievement of the Business South Europe performance.
To lead and develop an efficient sales team that develops strong business relationships with farmers as end-users and with dealers, distributors and cooperatives while operating in a safe and compliant way.
To be responsible, as part of the management team, for the contribution and implementation of strategic business roadmap for Turkey.

Job description

o As a member of the management team, to lead the commercial strategy development for all crops and contribute to for the business Roadmap and implementation responsible.
o Develop and implement the commercial strategy across the business for all crop areas – go to market strategy, distribution platform, commercial policy, demand creation activities to deliver the financial and business objectives (revenues, margin, profit, and market share)
o Lead the implementation of the demand creation strategy defined jointly with the Marketing Manager.
o Prepare sales budgets and forecasts, and track progress to manage and mitigate risks.
o Monitor and report periodically on sales performance. Propose and implement corrective actions in case of deviation from budget.
o Lead commercial strategy development and implementation of sales effectiveness, CRM, e-business and other European / BA projects.
o Lead others to their best potential by acting as a mentor.
o Sales team management to develop performance and competencies and achieve financial KPI's
o Work closely with Supply and Customer service team to ensure customer supply satisfaction.
o Responsible of the execution of the customer payment plan defined jointly with the CFO.
o Foster relationships with key accounts and develop a best-in-class sales team as measured in structured customer feedback
o Guides, supervises and validates the Portfolio enhancement at the proposal of the Product Manager.
o Know the market, the competition, the trends and the environment that may affect the competitiveness of the company, its opportunities and threats, understand and track customer needs through market research panels, studies, and other market analysis: market intelligence, marketing principles.

Skills: what we expect of you

TYPICAL EDUCATION
• Master's degree in business management, or equivalent business experience is an asset

EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
• Minimum 10 years professional experience with 3-5 years' experience in senior sales position
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of the agriculture business -Experience and knowledge of seed distribution and production
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong leadership, people/team management
• Proven ability to develop teams and individuals
• Experience of commercial strategy development and implementation and the ability to manage change with internal teams and customers
• Demonstrates entrepreneurial drive to achieve financial results and manage challenging situations to develop solutions and influence positive outcomes
• Strong commercial mindset / Results oriented
• Ability to manage a community in a matrix organization
• Financial acumen
