SUPPORT FUNCTIONS - COMMUNICATION
Main Goal
Manages the Marketing Communication Strategy in the ASIA region (India, Thailand, Vietnam) to reach the expected regional growth as per each strategic country plan.
Manages a team of local Marketing Communications representatives (5 people) and defines the Marketing Communications roadmap for the region. Partners and coordinates with internal client groups such as Sales and Marketing Product Managers to ensure the expected sales performance
Job description
The Regional Marketing Communication Manager works under the strategic direction of the Commercial Excellence Manager ASIA and is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Marketing strategies and associated communications activities within the assigned region. Main activities are:
Marketing strategy:
· Defines communication strategies to promote our products and commercial brands with the goal to support the Sales Target and strategic business growth
· Defines the Marketing Communication approach – online & offline - based on segmented customers & customer personas
· Defines & prioritizes appropriate Marketing Communication channels (online & offline) in line with the business strategy
· Prioritizes Marketing Communications projects in coordination with the business and is accountable for the respective deliverables & results
· Defines the Marketing Communications budget in alignment with the business (strategy) and is accountable for budget follow-up & execution in line with global guidelines
· He/she validates and controls the implementation of the local Marketing Communications action plans, while assuring integration of corporate Marketing Communications actions decided at the BU Level.
· Develops with the team and the business a clear annual roadmap and operational Marketing Communication plan and budget in alignment with the respective Sales Target, and monitors the implementation at regional and local level.
· Implements the new branding positioning with a clear market impact in terms of brand recognition and penetration
· Conducts market research studies/ interviews on Customers buying journey and communication impact
· Establishes and monitors KPIs to measure the financial impact of Marketing efforts (ROI)
· Participates ad-hoc to Regional Executive meetings and help the General Managers and Regional VP in leveraging new go-to-market communication approaches and marketing communication strategies
· It is part of the Marketing Communication Global team and act as valuable team member together with Regional Marketing communication Managers from Asia & Europe
· Manages external parties, e.g., vendors, event planners, agencies, etc. Inspires a solid “customer service” mindset (regarding internal or external clients)

Management:
· He/she manages and inspires a team composed of local Marketing Communication Leads. He/she is responsible for their professional development and talent management
· Provides guidance and advice to the team as needed in order to improve their efficiency and develops the skill level of the local Marketing Communications teams through tools, methodologies and trainings

· Leadership –Show proven leadership skills both in a hierarchical and matrix organization. Can work with senior leaders stakeholders ( eg.Country General Managers)
· Communication –Strong communication skill with both internal stakeholders and external customers. Strong presentation skills and persuasive approach being able to adapt to different audiences. Proven experience in Marketing communication strategies & plans both for offline/ online audiences. Self motivated and highly organized
· Management - proven efficient team management both vertically and horizontally; proven experience in international environments managing different cultures.
· Results driven: - driven by results setting and achievement, deadline focused. Proven experience in implementing country/ pan regional marketing go-to-market.
· Teamwork - Professional group demeanor; hands-on team player with a positive attitude. Acts as a business partner, seeking constructive interaction & alignment with the business (locally & regionally)
· Adaptability - Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Comfortable with fast-paced, challenging environment. ility to plan, organize and prioritize work.
· Language – Proficiency in English is required (both oral & written). Another language is a plus.
