Main Goal
As Plant Manager you will manage and lead the seed processing activities in our factory in Made, connecting with main internal and external stakeholders to drive success on safety, efficiency and quality.
You will be responsible for the Plant Safety, Quality, Manufactory and Efficiency Programs and work closely together with colleagues who are responsible for the other processing activities across Hazera and Limagrain Group.
To further improve our processing practices you will analyze and evaluate the current practices and develop improvement projects.
As Plant Manager you lead the processing team regarding logistics, cleaning and treat and packaging activities. In this role you are responsible for the operational budget and investment plan for the seed factory in Made.

Job description
· Support, optimize and innovate in vegetable seeds treatment processes within Hazera. These processes include securing seed health, seed cleaning, priming & application of plant protection products.
· Keep accurate files on the processes and register the data
· Generating new ideas and evaluate technical and financial feasibility via Insourcing or outsourcing
· Testing and evaluating new processes, before implementing it in our processing system
· Support Seed Treatment processes in Israel (Sderot) in collaboration with local Seed technology team.
· Be an active member of the Limagrain Group Seed Technology Expert Group and external initiatives
Profile
· To be successful in the position of Plant Manager you need to be numbers driven, system oriented and a critical thinker, and possess strong leadership skills and communication skills.
Next to this we are looking for the following:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in an agriculture, engineering or logistics related field
· At least 8 years of experience in a goods processing environment
· Experience as a people leader of operational teams
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing excellence programs
· Experience in an international environment
· Good proficiency of the English and Dutch language

This is a fulltime time job, located at our head office in Made. It concerns a local Netherlands Hazera Seeds B.V. employment contract, not an assignment construction. A relocation package can be part of the job offer.
