As Head of territory Africa, Asia & Pacific (AAP) & business development of Limagrain Field Seeds (LFS) , you ensure the operational & strategic management of the Business Unit CEOs and of the the JVs in your scope.
You propose strategic inflexions and business developments in AAP.
You are accountable for JV's and Business Units P&L as well as business KPIs target achievement in your scope.
You are member of Limagrain Field Seeds Executive Committee (LFSEC), and as such, you contribute to shaping LFS strategy and propose it to the Board of LFS.
You ensure in coordination with the Executive Committee Team an effective and consistent deployment of LFS strategy to make sure the business meets its ambition in AAP.
You are accountable for the LFS financial and business objectives.
You act as a reliable business partner toward LFS CEO:
- seeking for alignment, Business synergies & optimization whenever possible
- acting as a contributor or leader for all the LFS Business development projects
- Translate Limagrain Field Seed Business Line strategy into operational objectives and action plans for the territory AAP and oversee them in coordination with BU CEOs.
- Explore and propose new business development to create sustainable growth in sales or a competitive market advantage in your scope.
- Manage the Business performance of the BUs in AAP with the support of the BU CEOs and put the right KPIs in place to monitor & challenge business performance.
- Manage from both strategic and operational perspectives the Limagrain Field Seed contribution to the JVs in your scope and propose adjustments whenever necessary. Build a solid relationship with business partners in the JVs and make sure you are seen as a trustworthy & reliable partner.
- Ensure and facilitate interactions, good business practice sharing within your geographical scope as well as cross BUs within the business line LFS.
Senior profile with a strong track record in seeds or agri-supply products ,sales & business management in an international environment.
Ability to think and operate strategically.
At ease with matrix organisation and comfortable with both strategic and operational business management.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills.
Should have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
Strong commercial mindset
Ability and facilitation skills to handle change processes at Group level in line with Group directives.
Ability to combine the requirements of an international company with the necessary local adjustments
