SCP will keep track of inventory, anticipate demand, and suggest purchases to ensure production continuity & fulfill market demand, should ensure that there is sufficient inventory for business without overcapitalizing on stock, tracking of forecast accuracy and present to sales for further improvements & Plan inventory upgradations and liquidation to reduce obsolescence.
Principal Duties and responsibilities
1. Manage the inventory and supply as per the forecast and sales needs
2. Counting and tracking inventory across multiple locations.
3. Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions.
4. Analyzing and anticipating market trends for the best time to purchase inventory.
5. Participate in monthly S&OP and prepare the operational packing plan to achieve the monthly sales orders / sales forecast / sales demand.
6. Support QA, Customer service, Sales, QC and Marketing to manage the information of market complaint handling in Aquarius.
7. Creating inventory /Supply reports and presenting suggestions to the supply chain planning manager.
8. Ensuring the business has a steady flow of stock without overcapitalizing on materials.
9. Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand.
10. Inventory Health upgradation plan & Reduce obsolescence by proposing to sales with market knowledge to keep tracking sales & liquidation
11. Support SCM projects and JDE seed process flow management.
12. Packaging material planning to fulfill sales orders
13. Monthly MIS preparation –Forecast accuracy analysis, Support in S&OP data, Production release data, inventory analysis etc.
Any Bachelor degree (MBA in Operations, SCM and MM is preferable)
Min 3 years of work experience in Supply Chain (Seed industry experience preferable)
