•       We have several breeding programs across the different stations in India. Currently active programs are; Tomato, Hotpepper, Okra, Gourds (3), Cucumber, Watermelon, Onion, Cauliflower

•       Seed Vaults are managed by Operations and breeding team – no consistent process and opportunity to harmonize the internal process in major locations like Bangalore, Pune, Panipat and Rajpura

•       One of key audit points in IP, which suggests to strengthen our seed traceability (seed traceability is handled by multiple people including team from breeding, Ops and Support path)

•       Seed admin role exists in most of the regions and also in Vietnam within Asia

There has been significant seed shipment within and across the country. There is no central system for tracking

• Fully responsible for keeping records of seed import and export. Update seed inventory accordingly.

•  Monitoring seed vault for daily seed work alongside with breeding team.

•  Work closely with R&D and other cross functional team to develop better & efficient way of managing seed traceability. Prepare the report and share with local and global management teams as needed

•  Provide necessary data and information during the audit and develop process for continuous improvement

•  Follow up with Operations team for maintaince of seed vaults  and ensure better workflows related germplasm administration

•  Aligns & support with the internal phytosanitation process and ensures accurate documentation

•  Implements any process related to seed movement  and tracability as suggested by global and local management teams

 Overall, participate in working group with other services, train people on R&D related seed movements, responsible of KPI and traceability and propose & execute ideas on continuous improvement
