MID TERM STRATEGY
-Contribute to design the local business review & to implement related mid-term sales plan.
MANAGEMENT
-Manage the team : organize team work & planning, set up & follow up objectives, organize team & individual meetings, develop the skills of the team, participate to the recruitment and onboarding process.
BUDGET (OPEX)
-Propose & follow up the operating budget for expenses
CUSTOMER, MARKET & COMPETITION INTELLIGENCE
-Benchmark & analyze local customers, market & competition knowledge to identify business gaps and opportunities.
PRODUCT RANGE DESIGN & UPDATE
-In support to the Product Development Manager, assess gaps & opportunities of the current portfolio from a sales performance perspective and propose product range optimization.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
-Provide sales revenue & market share perspective during the product development process.
COMMUNICATION, PROMOTION & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
-Design & propose communication & promotion actions for new varieties & existing varieties when required. Coordinate all local actions implementation.
SALES FORECAST
-Consolidate & review local sales forecasts & design a forecast for the region with a focus on volume, monthly allocation & average sales price.
6Follow up sales vs. forecast & design forecast update requests when required to the Sales Planning.
-Propose/prioritize product allocation amongst areas & customers in case of seed availability issue.
PRICING
-Design a price proposal for new varieties based on product added value.
-Propose & challenge country/public price increase & price classification. Ensure coherence between customer individual prices by coordinating the Sales team.
-Set up a frame for negotiation with larger accounts and support the team in their negotiations. In line with the sales objectives for the area, validate the coherence of all local actions at customer level.
-Follow up sales objectives completion in direct interaction with the customer service, analyse gaps & ask the team members to design corrective actions. Validate & follow up realization.
CREDIT MANAGEMENT
-Following the Responsibility & Delegation frame & in coordination with the Credit Management team, analyze the past due situation, propose money collection actions &
coordinate implementation by the sales team. Depending and context, can release orders.
CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS
-Support the Sales team in the complaints treatment and decide of the appropriate claim settlement based on the Product Development Manager analysis.
REPORTNG
-Design & submit sales report to the management and follow up KPIs.
