Limagrain Europe, specialized in Field Crop Seeds across the European territory, is recruiting an Experimental Technician for its maize research activities (Puy-de-Dôme).

Reporting to the Regional Experimentation Manager, you will carry out and organize various tasks both at the station and in the field.

You will assist the manager as well as the experimental technician in the following tasks:

Selecting plots in collaboration with farmers.
Setting up trials both technically and digitally, ensuring compliance with and verification of protocols.
Organizing and carrying out sowing operations.
Monitoring the trial network and proactively suggesting ratings to be initiated.
Managing the technical itinerary of the plot in coordination with the farmer.
Supervising harvest operations.
Ensuring data collection during the season alongside the manager and the seasonal team.
Leading a team of seasonal staff.
You will operate agricultural machinery and perform maintenance on farming equipment.
Two peaks of activity are expected during the year, during sowing and harvesting periods, with travel within France.

Holder of an Agricultural BTS or a Professional Agricultural License.
An operational level of English would be appreciated. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Detail-oriented, autonomous, and a team player, you have a strong interest in and aptitude for fieldwork.
Good interpersonal skills and knowledge of the agricultural sector are essential.

The recruitment process takes place in several stages:
