Main Goal
As part of the Plant Production platform you will be reporting to the Project Lead and responsible for performing routine greenhouse and lab activities. You will contribute to developmental activities of the various projects.
Job description
The position will be under the responsibility of the Project Lead (s), your main responsibilities will be:
• Ensuring the implementation of protocols and helping with the logistics of finalising the experimentations in field and greenhouse as well as lab
• Collect phenotyping data provide support for the writing of experimental reports in French and/or English
• Interaction with the rest of the team and involvement in similar tasks under multiple projects of the Plant development platform
• Reading and understanding the previous protocols generated by the team before implementing them in actual experiments. Maintaining lab records
• Follow, apply and comply with Limagrain's quality and Stewardship policies, as well as safety instructions, in compliance with the company's internal regulations and safety rules.
• Contribute to drafting the protocols or/and work instructions
Skills: what we expect of you
• Bac+2 or Bac+3 in Biology or Agronomy or similar field with the training DEUG, BTS, DUT or equivalent
• Knowledge in conducting agronomic experiments under controlled conditions and/or in field (strongly desired)
• Experience in field crops, such as corn, sunflower and wheat (desirable)
• You have a solid knowledge of agronomy, plant physiology, and plant production
• You have good organizational skills and very good interpersonal skills
• Writing and synthesis skills are required for this position
• Autonomy, responsiveness, rigor and dynamism are appreciated qualities
• Finally, you are fluent in scientific English, both orally and in writing.
