This job falls within the framework of the company development and commercial strategy defined by the Unit Manager, in accordance with the general policy of the company.

Job description
For the zone(s) of Export Asia, the job involves:
• Monitoring of his Export area commercial activity with a transversal vision and understanding (at short and long term): Being accountable for the good performance of his Profit center (financial KPIs, sales turnover, margin, cash management, expenses management, forecast accuracy etc.).
• Making proposals of the strategy to sustain the growth of the commercial activity of his perimeter within the framework and guidelines defined by the Unit Director (Distribution, commercial policy…)
• Assuming also the products range development:
・ Coordinating the launch of new varieties,
・ Managing the range of products,
・ Monitoring the market,
・ Challenging forecasts for new varieties,
・ Leading the development actions of the distributors.
GENERAL MISSION
He/She will have to:
• Ensure the achievement of the Export Unit’s targets, defined with the Unit Director.
• Propose a mid and long-term global strategy for his Export area, to ensure and develop sales in his area, using Vilmorin-Mikado portfolio & brands, and be accountable for its implementation after validating it with the Unit Director.
• Ensure a good evaluation of the products and the management of their commercial launch with the contribution of the distributors.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
GENERAL ACTIVITIES
Sales:
• Build and ensure the deployment of the 5 Years Strategic Target for the perimeter after validation by the Unit Director & Marketing
• Propose and implement the sales forecast for the area and adjust the S&OP process for Export area in the Unit
• Negotiate the contracts with customers, in accordance with the company policy, and ensures their application
• Be the preferred partner of his customers to which he responds for technical, availability, product range & pricing topics,
• Visit direct & indirect customers and supports them to achieve the objectives,
• Establish the price list for customers in accordance with the pricing policy defined by the Unit Director (respecting minimum margin, means and terms of payment),
• Monitor the solvency of his customers and the compliance with the applicable payment risk procedures; Take any action in case of payment issues with the relevant departments and in agreement with the management
• Manage claims issues following the company procedures
• Follow customer’s activities using the CRM and company tools
• Follow customer’s inventory in the marketplace and competition pricing
• Monthly update forecast, analyze main YTD sales variations, follow margin and price increase
• Prepare twice/year SOP forecast
• Manage sister company relationship and follow up activities in the JEF frame.
• Look after JEF (in the case of sister company) and distribution contracts (in the case of distributor) for legal requirements
